Squidoo is one mighty beast. You can build pages in a jiffy, for fun and profit, highlight great products, get paid many dollars, and now even sell your lenses too!

Did you know it’s always been possible to sell your lenses? Squidoo has always let you transfer lenses to other people, and it’s only fairly recently that the market the pre-built lenses has flourished.

Squidoo gets more and more attention from marketers who realise how well the lenses perform in Google. The reason prebuilt lenses are so popular now is because marketers get to benefit from Squidoo without spending hours working everything out for themselves.

Why Has Squidoo Sent Me Money?

On every Squidoo page you’ll notice there are adverts running down the side.

There adverts are put there by Squidoo, and managed by Squidoo, and earn money for Squidoo.

So why are they sending YOU money? Unlike most websites, like Facebook or MySpace, Squidoo actually pays you to be there.

You get a share of all the money made by the adverts that are run on pages you create. Plus, if you make sales by featuring Amazon products or Ebay auctions, you split the profits with Squidoo. And you get paid each month through PayPal.

In general, the more lenses you have the more you’ll get paid, but quality really is more important than quantity.

I would rather have 10 great lenses that people find interesting than 100 shoddy lenses.

Squidoo + ClickBank: Money $$ Making Options

ClickBank is a network of 1000′s of downloadable products you can sell for profit. If you make a sale you keep roughly 50% of the sale price, while the product-creator keeps the rest.

ClickBank is an excellent system, and they have paid out over 1 BILLION dollars. To people just like you and me.

All you need is to get enough people to click your ‘clickbank affiliate links’ for enough to then purchase the products you’re featuring.

Squidoo is a way to accomplish that. You can use Squidoo to talk about topics related to the products you want to sell, and include your clickbank links.

People find your lenses, click your links, buy the products. You just need to increase the numbers of each of those 3 things.

Squidoo is a great way to promote clickbank affiliate products, but be sure to follow the Best Practices rules:

Don’t post link after link after link. Be tasteful and respectful.

Don’t create lenses on the banned topics.

Publish original content, don’t recycle words from elsewhere.
