Bank Owned Homes for Sale

Bank Owned Homes for Sale

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that there is a glut of bank owned homes for sale. As you may already know, this is due to the fact that banks incautiously loaned money to marginally qualified buyers who later could not keep up their mortgages. Now they find themselves dealing with more unoccupied homes than they can handle or want. Some banks have gone so far as to demolish newer built homes than to try to sell them. A Texas bank found it less expensive to tear down these new homes than to do minor fix ups and then hope to resell. As you can imagine, the bank doesn’t really want the property, it wants to sell this contract fast - as fast as possible. Banks are money lenders, not property holders. They make their money from interest paid on loans. If the home isn’t being mortgaged, they don’t get the income, which is bad for their business. Because banks are having problems due to the fact that they made all those bad loans, they are in more of a position to sell these accumulating

Foreclosed Homes for Sale

Foreclosed Homes for Sale Are a Good Investment

There are more foreclosed homes for sale now than ever what with the burst housing bubble with all the bad home loans. While certain politicians may have stated that every American is entitled to his own home might have sounded good for a campaign speech, it has certainly backfired in real practice. There is not a day that goes by that you don’t hear of this or that bank going under due, in great part, to this mass of bad debt. While that is bad news for some, for others it can be great news. Why? Now is the time for smart investors to invest in these troubled properties. A bank forecloses on a home after the current owner is deemed unable to pay off the mortgage. But the bank doesn’t really want the home - it really wants to make profit. So it will attempt to sell the property as soon as possible to the highest bidder, to cut their losses. They will list the home for sale in papers as well as online where real estate is advertised. While they can and do have real estate auctions, i

Buying Foreclosed Homes

Why Buying Foreclosed Homes Is Good For Everybody

Now, that headline got your attention. How in the world can buying foreclosed homes be good for everybody? After all, when a homeowner is foreclosed on by a bank, the first reaction is “bad news,” right? The ex-owner loses and the bank wins, right? This couldn’t be further from the truth. While it is true that the family now needs to find a new place to live, that isn’t necessarily bad. Instead of paying $1,000 to $2,000 monthly on a mortgage, they can conceivably now rent for perhaps half that much. And still live in a nice home - just more within their means. Then the bank really is the one in a tough position. They are stuck with a property that they don’t really want. So the bank will attempt to turn around and sell the distressed property as soon as possible. Banks lend money - they don’t like to own real estate. Enter the smart investor who is ready to buy and then rent out the home, perhaps even to the family that previously owned it. The family is happy to have a roof over t

How to Buy Foreclosures

Tips on How to Buy Foreclosures

Real estate transactions can be a very involving process and when someone goes to buy foreclosures, there is much to be considered. Whether you are just buying this home for personal use or as an investment, the first consideration in regards to how to buy foreclosures would be to get yourself a trustworthy realtor to handle the many angles of the whole deal. These duties range from helping you put together your offer, approaching the bank or loan institution, arranging for escrow to handle all the money and legal searches. You just don’t want to do this on your own unless you are willing to do a lot of foot work and standing in line or waiting on hold. Another thing to do, also, even if this is a onetime purchase, is to have the home inspected. Even if the home is newer, it is worth the several hundred dollars to have an expert go over the home with a fine toothed comb. This will head off any future problems should there be plumbing leaks developing, damp moldy basements and sagging

Where Is Madeleine McCann?

Did Madeleine’s Mother and Father Kill Her?

Where Is Madeleine McCann?Did Madeleine’s Mother and Father Kill Her? Update: I give up! Who did this? A pedophile? The parents? I’m sick of reading about missing children with no resolution. It sickens me. Click here to read the full story about the possibility of her parents being accused! I’m outraged. Every time I turn on the news it seems another pedophile has abducted a child and caused them harm. I’m helping support the Polly Klaas® Foundation by building this lens because anything I can do to make parents aware of the dangers and help protect our kids is something I feel is important. While 80% of abductions are by family members, there’s a whopping 20% that are stranger abductions. This lens will focus on that 20%. Let’s rescue these kids and put these monsters away for good. Madeleine McCann, age 3, was left in her hotel room with her two-year-old twin siblings while her parents went to eat at a restaurant. They said they checked on the kids every half hour, but during that time, someone got into

Swine Flu H1N1 Virus Pandemic News

What Is Swine Flu?

Swine Flu H1N1 Virus Pandemic NewsThe swine flu is an influenza virus that was originally found in pigs. Although it is rare, humans can contract it from swine when coming in contact with pork meat processing. The human to human version of the swine flu is passed on from person to person by personal contact and by breathing the air where someone has been present with the disease. Like any other flu virus, it can give you a fever with chills, sore throat proceeding to a cough and general feeling of being unwell. For the most part, the swine flu will affect the population much like typical seasonal flu, which makes some part of the population ill with only a small proportion suffering anything more than an inconvenience. Some 50,000 individuals worldwide died of “typical” flu last year. Children and the elderly are of particular concern for contracting it. Children because they constantly touch their hands to places where the germs lay and the elderly presumably because their older immune systems are less able to ward

Warrior Forum Red Versus Black Niche Marketing Challenge

What Is the Warrior Forum Red Versus Black Niche Marketing Team Challenge?

Warrior Forum Red Versus Black Niche Marketing ChallengeUPDATE: Just noticed the thread was locked in the Warrior Forum so I’m assuming it’s not a welcomed adventure there. Maybe we can take it off the forum and call it something different? Stay tuned… It’s a niche marketing challenge I thought we should do because it’s fun, it’s competitive, and it helps us LEARN - which is something we Warriors do best. I’ve done many challenges in the past but they were focused on one element of marketing online, like building Squidoo lenses or article marketing. This Red Versus Black Warrior Forum challenge is going to be different because it’ll be comprehensive. A quest to see which team can dominate a niche in 3 months’ time. Not everyone’s going to agree with the way we all map out the challenge, but we want as much Warrior input as possible before we iron out the exact details. So here’s what YOU can do - read through this lens carefully and take EACH poll so that I can determine what Warriors want before I go back into this lens and give the

Photo Lighting Equipment and Strategies for the Perfect Picture!

Essential Photography Studio Equipment

Photo Lighting Equipment and Strategies for the Perfect Picture! The word essential means absolutely necessary or indispensable. In the photography studio, there are certain pieces of equipment that can be deemed essential. Photography studio equipment such as a variety of backgrounds, proper lighting equipment, a good assortment of props that are attractive and in good shape and of course your camera and a back up camera can be called essential. One of the key essentials as far as photography studio equipment goes is lighting. In the studio, lighting will make or break a photo session. Lighting helps to capture mood, and highlight certain aspects of your subject. Lighting can make the finished photo look dark and mysterious, sensual, bright and cheerful or artistic. If you’re just getting into studio photography, it’s important to note that you don’t have to have every last piece of lighting equipment right now, but you do need a good “starter kit” and you’ll want to build on that as time passes and you develop your skills. For the seasoned phot

Envy Me - I Have the Worlds Greatest Husband!

To Have a Great Marriage, You Need to Be Grateful, & I Am!

Envy Me - I Have the Worlds Greatest Husband!I’ve known my husband for 10 years now. We’ve been married since November 13th, 2003. Like all couples, we’ve had our rough patches, but we’re human - and like a cat with 9 lives, we always land on our feet, still holding hands, still committed to each other, and still in love. I see so many couples who focus on the faults of the ones they love. I inherently believe there’s good in everyone, but I hit the jackpot when I found my soul mate. I first loved my husband because he embraced the fact that I was a single mom. He didn’t shun me or look at it as a burden. In fact, he sent me money to take my son out to do something fun (since I was in college and on a budget). He wrote me love letters and always included a little note to my son, or sent him a stuffed animal to show he cared. At a time when I felt shamed by society for being an unwed mother, he became my knight in shining armor, proving to me that I made the right decision. if your marriage is on the rocks, try focusing every day

RECRUITING TIPS: Magnetic Sponsoring Can Explode Your MLM!

The Problem of Recruiting…

Magnetic Sponsoring Can Explode Your MLM!If I’ve learned anything during my time in network marketing it’s this: Recruiting is key, and most people absolutely hate being “recruited”! If that doesn’t strike fear into the hearts of network marketers everywhere, I don’t know what will. And on top of that, most of us in the business don’t get much enjoyment from chasing after people, either. We have to recruit, and we don’t like doing it, at least not in the traditional way. And the people we are trying to recruit don’t like to be chased. That leaves us all in a conundrum doesn’t it? How to recruit effectively without annoying others and ourselves?
